Design and Document Pilot Training Equipment

Your Key Responsibilities
1. Develop product functional and physical architectures for our Ground Based Training Equipment (GBTS), aligning with ISO standards 15288 and 12207.
2. Define hardware requirements based on customer contracts, market demands, and technological advancements to shape Pilatus products.
3. Outline hardware assemblies and components, interfaces, and interactions to ensure correct, testable, and verifiable implementation.
4. Support system installation and testing at customer sites, requiring international travel as needed.
5. Conduct necessary tests as part of our Verification and Validation plan.
6. Provide after-sales technical assistance, including query answering and investigations, to support our customer service team.
Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
2. At least two years of experience designing complex hardware/software systems, such as machinery or vehicles, with a focus on flight simulators and direct user interaction.
3. English language proficiency at C1 level; German language skills are an asset.
4. Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in teams or individually, demonstrating proactive attitude.
5. Excellent communication and social skills.
6. Flexibility to interact with internal and external customers, as well as willingness to travel internationally.
