To support business growth, we are hiring a Customer Support Engineer in Switzerland.
Role Purpose
Ensure Plasma Technology equipment is fully functional and available for customer use. This involves regular travel in Switzerland and occasionally in Europe.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Commission equipment including operational and maintenance training.
* Respond to emergency breakdowns for warranty and service contract work.
* Report regularly on relevant issues and PDR objectives.
* Provide visit reports detailing work completed, outstanding issues and time spent on site.
* Authorise system 'buy-off' prior to shipment.
* Liaise with technical support and systems engineering on system problems.
* Liaise with Sales Team to provide background information.
* Maintain accurate records of system status, warranty timing and service contracts.
* Keep up-to-date with enquiries and project files on significant information.
* Provide detailed records of expenses incurred.
You would be an ideal match if you have:
* Formal Electronic qualification.
* Substantial experience and training.
* Ability to interpret Electrical and Mechanical drawings.
* Good PC / PLC experience.
* Experience in Semi-Conductor or high-Tech Electronic industry.
* Fluent German and English speaker.
* Driving licence.
* Ability to work on own initiative.
* Clear communication skills.
* Able to prioritise multiple tasks.
