**Our Opening and Your Responsibilities**
The Laboratory Weighing (LabTec) business area is responsible for the Laboratory Balances and Moisture Analyzer portfolio within METTLER TOLEDO. As a market leader in laboratory balances, we differentiate ourselves with unique innovations that offer perceived customer value.
Main markets include Pharma, Chemical, Food, and Testing Lab industries for R&D, Quality Control, and Scale-up/Pre-production workplaces.
We are seeking a communicative, empathetic, and goal-oriented Market Manager (80-100% all genders) to strengthen our team in Switzerland and ensure steady growth.
In this role, your responsibilities will include:
* You will work closely with Market Organizations to implement marketing and sales strategies to develop the LabTec business in assigned regions.
* You will organize regular virtual and face-to-face meetings for business reviews and best practice sharing with Market Organizations. You will jointly develop and execute local growth plans with Market Organizations.
* You will conduct strategic market assessments and propose recommended actions to address gaps.
* You will act as primary contact for LabTec with Market Organizations to win their mindshare, provide business support, collect feedback on markets, tools, collateral needs, and share news (product launches, new tools, etc.).
* You will coordinate and lead collection of regular customer feedback via direct account visits, round tables, and/or from different Market Organizations.
* You will plan, coach, and support dealer management in strategic partnerships, contracts, marketing plans, and marketing.
* You will prepare monthly and quarterly reports for management and team.
**What You Need to Succeed**
To succeed in this role, you must meet the following requirements:
* You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in natural science or engineering with at least 5 years of work experience as a Sales Manager, Key Account Manager, Dealer Manager, or other sales-related function. Experience in LifeScience or BioPharma segments is a plus.
* You are a networker with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate across different teams with various cultural backgrounds. You can motivate people in a matrix organization to achieve their goals.
* You have a good sense of business opportunities and an entrepreneurial attitude combined with excellent oral and written communication skills in English. German language skills are a plus.
* You are willing to travel globally around 20-30%.
