In this role, you'll join our team at the Ibex facility in Visp and be responsible for performing operational activities related to assigned manufacturing projects in Up-stream or Down-stream processing areas.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform manufacturing activities in Up-stream or Down-stream processing areas, adhering to cGMP guidelines, ensuring batch execution, evaluating test results, resolving issues, troubleshooting manufacturing equipment, and making recommendations for resolution.
* Support the preparation of SHE (Safety, Health, Environment), EM (Environmental Monitoring), operation, and cleaning risk assessment for assigned products and implement defined measures.
* Assist in document preparation, such as electronic batch records and SOPs, specific to the assigned production area.
* Review production documentation and work on deviations, change requests, and implementation of CAPAs to ensure high-quality GMP standards.
* Pursue Capital investment projects for building and commissioning new manufacturing units as a manufacturing expert, delivering all necessary input for set-up, commissioning, and qualification of manufacturing suites and equipment.
* Train manufacturing staff on specific equipment or standard operations.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biotechnology, Biology, Biochemical Engineering, or related fields, or equivalent education and experience.
* Solid knowledge of biotechnological processes, either in microbial and/or mammalian cultivation or protein purification.
* Strong communication skills, collaborative attitude, motivation, and passion for finding solutions.
* Fluency in English is required; fluency in German is considered an asset.
* Open to working in a shift system (4-shift system).
* BASIC GMP understanding is beneficial.
