Position:
Are you a senior private banking assistant (assistant/e de gestion) currently looking for a really interesting position, as part of a close-knit team, with like-minded people? This is a bank that offers strong ethics and values and puts teamwork first, all striving to offer a top-notch client service, working towards a common goal. An opportunity for an experienced assistant who speaks Russian fluently to support a busy, senior banker. This is a human-sized bank so the position would appeal to those who are happy to work closely with the other assistants and bankers, who cover other geographical areas. Strong experience on passing complex orders etc for trading clients, as well as discretionary and advisory is also required (e.g structured products, derivatives etc). For this post, your experience should ideally come from a leading small to medium-sized Swiss or international bank of good repute and standing.
Responsibilities:
* Assist in the daily management of client relationships, ensuring smooth communication and coordination.
* Manage account openings and maintain daily correspondence with clients and internal bank units.
* Handle client orders efficiently across key asset classes.
* Process payment instructions, cash management tasks, and corporate actions etc.
* Support the relationship manager with documentation, meeting preparations, and business trip planning.
* Proactively collaborate with the relationship manager and clients to identify new business opportunities.
* Provide support on compliance-related tasks and client-focused projects as needed.
* Prepare KYC files, oversee the account opening and closure process + KYC reviews support (working closely with Compliance).
* Handle various administrative duties and respond to ad-hoc requests as required.
Profile:
* Bachelor's degree or diploma in banking/finance (or equivalent commercial apprenticeship).
* Around 5-7 years' Swiss banking experience as an experienced private banking assistant (assistant/e de gestion).
* Experience/interest in compliance tasks.
* Used to covering a Russian-speaking + European UHNW client base.
* At ease within a small to medium-sized structure.
* Strong communication skills and excellent personal presentation.
* Good knowledge of and interest in financial markets and investment products, as well as comfortable passing complex orders and some trading experience cross-assets preferred, but not essential.
* Strong IT skills (MS Office) used to using core banking systems/PMS.
* A resilient, self-driven, pro-active person who is a team player and able to take initiative.
* Able to commit to a 100% full-time position (no home office, or rarely) to start ASAP.
* Swiss resident preferred but frontalier considered.
