Your role:
As a Backend Engineer at grape, you will be at the heart of our innovation, collaborating with a dynamic, interdisciplinary team to design, develop, and implement robust backend functionalities for our web-based products. Our Engineers are empowered to explore new ideas and have a significant impact on the company's roadmap and vision.
Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to design, develop, and implement backend features for our web-based product
* Build and maintain integrations with our customers' systems
* Shape the technical architecture and DevOps of our platform
* Define technical requirements and contribute to the product roadmap in collaboration with the team
* Participate in code reviews and offer constructive feedback
Requirements:
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in backend development, preferably for fast-scaling SaaS products, with a strong proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js
* Experience with GraphQL or REST APIs and integrating APIs from third-party providers
* Familiarity with continuous integration practices, testing methodologies, and a commitment to writing clean, secure, organized, and thoroughly documented code
* Strong knowledge of relational databases
* Effective communication and teamwork skills, along with creative problem-solving abilities
