Vertiv is looking for a new EMEA Material Management and Logistics Leader to join our dynamic team!

This position provides leadership, direction, and ensures strategic deployment of materials management and inventory programs across Line of Businesses and Regions. Responsibilities include forecast management, S&OP review, production planning, materials planning, purchasing, and inventory planning with Plants and Regions.
What kind of work will you be doing?
1. Develop consistent capacity & material planning for factories to match long-term demand.
2. Facilitate feedback to SI&OP during executive meetings.
3. Work closely with business partners (market, manufacturing, finance, procurement), customers, and suppliers to meet or exceed customer needs.
4. Drive the escalation process in case of critical issues linked to availability or cash flow.
5. Optimize standard system setup to structurally and continuously improve results.
6. Ensure continuous improvement activities and identify possible synergies with factory organization.
7. Support talent management process (selection, development, and career path).
8. Provide leadership and mentorship to the entire team.
9. Ensure communication of vision and strategy for his area of responsibility within the organization.
What Would Be the Perfect Qualifications?
* BS degree in Engineering or Business Management.
* Minimum 7 years with increasing responsibilities within Operations and Materials.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Well-developed interpersonal skills.
* Computer and software applications skills required.
* Proactive and high-energy style.
* Fluent in English – written and spoken.
