Job Summary
Mental Health Team Manager: Lead mental health activities in a hospital or project, ensuring regular follow-ups and patient care. Foster a neutral environment for sessions and train interpreters accordingly.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage mental healthcare services across the entire facility/project.
* Provide specialized care to victims of sexual violence.
* Ensure mental health activities are conducted with thorough follow-ups.
* Lead, train, and supervise a team of mental health professionals.
* Maintain objectivity during sessions, despite personal beliefs or feelings.
* Cultivate trained interpreters proficient in terminology and behavior.
* IDentify target population's mental health needs and develop strategies.
* Map existing mental health services, including NGOs, community groups, and government services.
* Address potential advocacy and protection issues.
* Facilitate counseling, PPTCT, and voluntary testing as required.
* Promote proper treatment, including psychotropic medication and support.
* Implement MSF standard protocols and procedures.
Requirements
* Master's degree in clinical psychology.
* Two years' relevant professional experience, including behavioral techniques or counseling.
* Recent clinical experience (at least six months within 24 months).
* Experience working with vulnerable populations in diverse contexts.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and IT skills.
* Fluency in English and/or French.
* A minimum commitment of three months.

Assets
* Experience working with post-traumatic stress disorder or trauma and violence survivors.
* Additional psychotherapy training (cognitive therapy, social work, or counseling).
* Language proficiency in Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, or Russian.
