About The Role
As an Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth and building strong customer relationships in Switzerland. Your focus will be on identifying new business opportunities, fostering long-term partnerships, and expanding our market presence. This role requires a strategic mindset combined with a hands-on sales approach, particularly in developing local distributor and EPC installer networks. You will be responsible for actively developing new sales channels and managing both current and upcoming distributors and installers to ensure continuous growth and market expansion.
Key Responsibilities
1. Conduct market research and analysis to stay ahead of industry trends, competitors, and customer demands within the energy storage sector.
2. Develop and execute sales strategies based on market insights, focusing on lead generation, customer acquisition, and retention.
3. Proactively engage potential customers, nurturing relationships and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
4. Establish and strengthen local distributor and EPC installer networks to drive product distribution and market expansion.
5. Actively develop new sales channels and partnerships to ensure continuous business growth.
6. Manage and grow relationships with existing and upcoming distributors and installers, ensuring they receive necessary support, training, and guidance for optimal performance.
7. Collaborate with internal teams, including technology, marketing, and customer service, to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs.
8. Lead sales negotiations and contract processes, ensuring alignment with company goals and revenue targets.
9. Provide market insights, sales reports, and customer feedback to management, contributing to strategic planning and budgeting.
10. Maintain a proactive approach to identifying new opportunities, growing existing accounts, and maximizing market penetration.
What We're Looking For
1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or Business Administration.
2. Proven experience in B2B sales, account management, or business development, ideally within the renewable energy or energy storage industry.
3. Strong understanding of the Swiss energy market and its key players.
4. Demonstrated experience in channel sales, distributor management, and EPC installer engagement.
5. Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships through excellent communication and negotiation skills.
6. Self-motivated and target-driven, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
7. Willingness to travel within Switzerland & DACH as needed.
8. Fluency in English, French, and/or German.
