Siegfried DINAMIQS is a Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) specializing in the manufacturing of viral vectors for gene therapies.
Our comprehensive range of services includes vector design optimization, cutting-edge process development and analytics, as well as manufacturing. We operate with state-of-the-art R&D facilities and are building a new GMP facility to support gene therapy projects with scalable and efficient solutions.
We have become part of Siegfried's global network and are looking to grow our team by hiring a Facility Maintenance Mechanic.
Your Role
* Maintenance Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on mechanical systems and equipment used in pharmaceutical production, including pumps, motors, mixers, HVAC, compressed air, clean gas distribution, WFI system, and other machinery.
* Technical Support: Provide technical support to production teams during equipment malfunctions or emergencies, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to production schedules.
* Preventive Maintenance: Assist with preventive maintenance (PM) programs, ensuring systems are checked and maintained according to a set schedule.
* Spare Part Management: Maintain and manage spare part storage.
* Calibration: When applicable, calibrate production equipment (e.g., scales, pressure sensors, flow meters) in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other relevant industry standards.
* Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, calibration activities, and repairs performed.
* Audit Preparation: Assist in preparing for internal and external audits, ensuring all maintenance and calibration documentation is up-to-date and readily available.
* Safety Protocols: Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Your Profile
* Education: High school diploma or equivalent (technical training in mechanical systems or engineering preferred).
* Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in facility maintenance within the pharmaceutical or related industry.
* Skills: Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, troubleshooting, repair, and calibration procedures. Familiarity with GMP and regulatory requirements for calibration and maintenance in pharmaceutical production.
* Communication: Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics (P&ID). Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with production and engineering teams.
* Certifications: Proficient in English and German.
