To strengthen our team, we are looking for a highly analytical and results-driven Business Controller to oversee financial planning, controlling, and reporting across key business areas.
The profile ensures data accuracy, supports decision-making with insightful analysis, and contributes to budgeting, business planning, and financial modeling.
Responsibilities
* Ensure planning, control, and reporting of OpEx, personnel costs, production costs, inventory, investments
* Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports and provide insights on budget deviations with recommendations for optimization
* Support budgeting, forecasting, and mid-term planning, ensuring alignment with financial targets
* Analyze production performance (machine hourly rates definition, verifying accuracy of production orders costing, etc.)
* Identify business critical related processes and propose process optimizations
* Contribute to Board of Managers / Directors documentation preparation and support strategic decision-making
* Participate in financial and cross-functional projects, driving process improvements and business optimization initiatives
Qualifications
* Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
* 3-5 years of experience in a financial controlling or business controlling role (experience in an industrial manufacturing company is a plus)
* Advanced analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights
* Strong process-oriented approach
* Experience in cost accounting, production controlling, and inventory management is a strong plus
* Excellent Excel skills mandatory; experience with financial analysis tools (e.g., Tagetik, Power BI, SQL) is a plus
* Proficiency in ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 knowledge is a plus)
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with different stakeholders
* Fluency in German and English is mandatory; knowledge of Italian is a plus.
