Job Description:
The Python, PHP, PostgreSQL Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex data architectures and applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in these technologies and a deep interest in data architecture. The Developer has also an experience in the Finance industry.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
* Develop, test, and maintain high-quality software applications using Python, PHP, and PostgreSQL.
* Design and implement robust, scalable data architectures and pipelines.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
* Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
* Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
* Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
* Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
* Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our applications and data systems remain competitive and up-to-date.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
* 2-4 years of professional experience in IT architecture, software development, ideally in the Finance industry.
* Strong affinity with the operations and able to manage stressful periods.
* Proficiency in Python, PHP, and PostgreSQL.
* Strong understanding of software development principles and RESTful APIs.
* Experience with version control systems such as GitHub.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Ideally:
* Experience in Finance and core banking software (T24, GTExchange, GTFrame, GTMatch)
* Experience in software architecture.
* Experience working with Kubernetes and Docker.
* Experience with queuing systems (Kafka, ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, etc.)
