The Role
Pexapark is now looking for a Senior Corporate Renewable Advisory Manager to join our Corporate PPA & H2 team. You will take a lead role in originating and delivering new client mandates with commercial & industrial buyers as well as investors, that help them understand renewable energy risks and identify optimal renewable energy procurement and carbon emission reduction strategies for their needs.
You shall also contribute to the development of Pexapark’s business offering serving the buy side to enhance our capability to have a positive impact on the way buyers evaluate and transact renewable power and reduce their carbon emissions.
How will you help:
Actively originate new client mandates and promote our services internationally.
Assist in building and scaling our sustainability and ESG advisory offering.
Guide customers to define optimal energy procurement strategies and make informed energy hedging decisions to manage energy market risk.
Develop solid working relationships with senior client contacts.
Support the development of more junior team members.
Liaise with our quant advisory team to evaluate different structured products and client portfolio simulations.
Liaise with our commercial and analysis functions and contribute to enhancing our market insights offering.
What you’ll bring:
5+ year’s experience gained either within a corporate procurement/sustainability function, consultancy firm, or similar.
Working knowledge of renewable energy PPAs and contracting onsite renewable technologies.
Working knowledge and experience of applying SBTi and RE100 technical criteria, and other emissions reporting methodologies used by corporate and industrials.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex quantitative data and market insight to advise.
Solution-focused mindset with a strong drive for identifying new business opportunities.
Outstanding communication and presentation skills with the ability to reduce complex information into actionable frameworks and connect at all levels of the client.
Entrepreneurial spirit with a high sense of ownership and a track record of delivering results.
A good sense of humour.
