Job Description
The Plant Controlling Manager will oversee all financial activities of the plant, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and strategic alignment with business goals. This role includes managing a team of 3 professionals and collaborating across departments to drive financial excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
* Partner with operational leadership to provide financial insights and recommendations.
* Ensure general accounting compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
* Lead controlling and financial reporting activities for accurate and timely data.
* Prepare financial forecasts, budgets, and performance analyses to support strategic planning.
* Ensure correct costing for produced goods and services, approving quotes for Engineered-to-Order new equipment.
* Closely monitor treasury position, anticipate financing needs, manage relationships with local banks, and approve payments.
* Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes.
* Coordinate internal and external audits, adhering to regulatory and corporate standards.
* Develop and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field.
* 5+ years of experience in financial management within a manufacturing environment.
* Solid knowledge of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards).
* Strong leadership skills with team management experience.
* Excellent command of English (written and spoken), Spanish language desirable.
* Knowledge of financial systems, ERP platforms, and Excel.
* Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
