We are seeking an experienced Product Manager/Owner for our SaaS company in the Regulatory Transaction Reporting space. You will drive the vision, strategy, and execution of our solutions in a dynamic regulatory environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional product features. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role requires expertise in SaaS models, Agile methodologies, and regulatory compliance, with a proven track record in delivering impactful software products. Your Goals
Define and Prioritise Business Needs: Focus on understanding client requirements, regulatory changes, and market trends to create a business-driven product roadmap. Collaborate with the TPM to ensure technical feasibility.
Develop Functional Requirements: Translate customer and market needs into clear, actionable functional specifications that guide the TPM and engineering team.
Collaborate with the Technical Product Manager: Work closely with the TPM to align business objectives with technical solutions, ensuring that features meet both functional and technical requirements.
Drive Market Strategy: Own the go-to-market strategy, positioning, and value proposition of the product while ensuring alignment with customer pain points and competitive differentiation.
Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between internal teams (e.g., sales, marketing, and customer support) and external clients, gathering insights to shape the product strategy.
Own the Business Impact: Focus on delivering measurable business outcomes, such as increased customer satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and revenue growth, while the TPM ensures technical success.
Prioritize and Plan Backlogs: Take ownership of the product backlog, prioritizing features based on business value, customer needs, and regulatory deadlines. Work closely with the TPM to address dependencies and risks.
Deliver Functional Excellence: Ensure product features are designed to fulfil customer and market needs, leaving the technical implementation details to the TPM.
Collaborate with the CEO: Work directly with the CEO on high-level product strategy and ensure alignment with company goals, while delegating technical alignment to the TPM.
Promote Cross-Functional Communication: Facilitate seamless collaboration among business, technical, and operational teams, ensuring that the TPM is equipped with clear priorities and functional requirements.
Your Responsibilities
Managing and prioritising the product backlog.
Developing and managing the product roadmap, and prioritising features based on customer and business needs, including defining the scope of functionality and technical aspects, writing specifications, and mapping schema.
Developing detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and other documentation to support the development and refinement of features.
Acting as the liaison between Management, Business Analysts (Service Desk), Development, and Release Management.
Collaborating with engineering teams to ensure timely delivery of product features and enhancements.
Keeping abreast of market trends.
Understanding the customer landscape and processes to identify problems 'worth' solving.
Engaging in requirements engineering.
Your Profile
Excellent regulatory knowledge of EMIR, MiFID/MiFIR, or SFTR is desirable.
5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in the SaaS or regulatory sectors.
Strong understanding of regulatory transaction reporting compliance processes.
Monitoring of regulatory changes and align product roadmap accordingly.
Proficiency in Agile methodologies and experience with Agile tools.
Good knowledge of SDLC.
Product Owner/Management Certification is advantageous.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

For this position, we offer a gross annual salary starting at EUR 70.000, taking into consideration the appropriate classification according to the valid IT collective agreement and the willingness to overpay based on qualifications and professional experience.
