Job Title: Senior Manager, Strategy Development and Deployment

JOB SUMMARY:
Reporting to the VP Supply Chain Ethicon, the Strategy Development and Deployment Senior Manager is responsible for providing leadership and direction to the Ethicon Supply Chain and the Commercial Organization in relation to the Ethicon LLC business model.
Defines and implement Supply Chain strategies which support the Ethicon LLC Business Plans and performance targets. Responsible for the Ethicon LLC contract management processes.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
* Design and implement supply chain process solutions related to new Business Model strategies. Ensure sustained supply for existing and new products by leading the deployment of key Ethicon LLC Supply Chain initiatives. Ascertain Ethicon LLC business strategy is supported and enhanced by those new initiatives.
* Develop and maintain awareness of Ethicon LLC business model within the Supply Chain and Commercial organization.
* In partnership with the supply chain leadership, responsible of the design, deployment and maintenance of the Ethicon LLC business model governance framework and ascertain its compliance.
* Establish and support the maintenance for all areas, of the required Function/Governance documentation.
* Establish, deploy, and maintain the requirements to monitor strategy compliance.
* Ascertain all contracts required to support the supply chain structure are in place and properly retained for inspection. d. Responsible of the related contracts adequate implementation.
* Serve as liaison between the Supply Chain, Commercial and Tax Organizations.
* Support internal audits including but not limited to Finance, Procurement and Quality areas.
* Manage and or support day to day IRS audit process and support J&J Corporate Tax Department through such audits.
* Communicate with Supply Chain and Commercial Leaders to lead compliance across the organization.
* Lead the Ethicon LLC intercompany contracts development, to ascertain alignment and harmonization with the Ethicon supply chain structure. Develop and implement Intercompany agreements to support new supply chain initiatives.
* Drive contract review process to ascertain the input integration of all the applicable function streams. This is including but not limited to the Ethicon Supply Chain and Commercial organizations.
* Oversee the contracts administration to ascertain proper storage, contracts compliance, timely renewal and required expiration notifications.
* Support the Supply Chain and Commercial organization on the development, review and implementation of Ethicon LLC third party’s contracts to ascertain alignment and harmonization with the Ethicon supply chain structure.
* Drive contract review process to ascertain the input integration of all the applicable function streams. This is including but not limited to the Ethicon Commercial and Supply Chain organizations.
* Oversee the contracts administration to ascertain proper storage, contracts compliance, timely renewal and required expiration notifications.
* Ensure Ethicon LLC follows corporate compliance policies related to legal entities and their protocols.
* Manage and position resources to achieve these activities.
* Comply with all environmental, safety and occupational health policies. (i.e., ISO14001 & OSHAS18001)
* Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level.
* Responsible for following all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices as applicable.
* For those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable
* Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures.
* Performs other duties assigned as needed.

Qualifications
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
* Bachelor’s degree in business administration/Materials Management or Bachelor in Science required. MBA or equivalent master’s degree is desirable.
* Experience in contract writing or related experience is required.
* Experience with Program Management required.
* At least 5 years of procurement / financial experience or related experience required.
* Corporate tax experience or related experience required.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, CERTIFICATIONS/Licenses and AFFILIATIONS
* Master priority setting, Timely decision making, strategic planning, judgment, influencing and project management skills. Knowledge of general business, US & international markets, regulatory and R&D processes.
* Excellent Communication skills – written and oral – to interact with all levels of field sales/marketing/finance departments.
* Strong English verbal and written communication skills
* Understanding of end-to-end supply chain interactions and interdependencies
* Strong analytical skills / Master complexity
* Strong financial skills
* Strong strategic vision on planning processes and inventory management
* Organization and planning - Ability to adjust priorities in changing environment.

LOCATION & TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
- Travel: 20-30% domestic and international travel required.
- Weekend travel and work, and participation in conference calls and meetings during late night/early morning hours may be required occasionally.

External regulatory bodies such as the FDA, Notified Bodies, IRS representatives, among others. 2. External manufacturing partners and stakeholders and third-party suppliers.
