Perfume Strategic Marketing Associate Manager
To strengthen our Global Strategic Marketing Team in Neuchatel, we are seeking a Perfume Strategic Marketing Associate Manager.
This role reports to the Perfume Strategic Marketing Manager and involves managing iconic perfume collections, future product development, and coordinating new launches strategy.
Job Responsibilities
Product Strategy and Development
You will develop strategic recommendations for your portfolio of perfume collections over 3 years, focusing on introducing desirable innovations for end consumers. You will define product strategy, including concept, product assortment, recommended price, and distribution strategy for upcoming launches. Your role will define the vision of the collection, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and market demands.
Cross-Functional Coordination
You will coordinate product development, guiding creative, packaging development, fragrance formulation, production, and legal teams towards common objectives. You will work closely with the Brand & Communication team in Rome to ensure seamless implementation of global strategy at a local level worldwide by briefing departments involved (Trade Marketing, Advertising, Media, PR, Training).
Performance Analysis
You are responsible for analyzing sell-in and sell-out performances of collections and launches you lead, gathering local markets' feedback to establish best practices that can be centrally implemented.
You must ensure desirability is reconciled with profitability while optimizing costs and margins to improve overall financial performance of products under your scope. Finally, you will manage and follow up on allocated budget for your product lines.
Profile
We seek a candidate with a Master's degree in Economics, Marketing, or Business Administration and 5-7 years of marketing experience within a Global Marketing team, preferably with a strong sensitivity to luxury brands and products.
A sharp analytical mindset, data analysis, and strategic thinking skills are essential, along with strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Excellent communication and presentation abilities are required to convey ideas clearly and efficiently to top management, global teams, and local markets.
You should have the ability to manage multiple projects with precision and agility, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and maintain a global vision on your portfolio. Proactive and solution-oriented, you should be adaptable and capable of driving innovation while ensuring brand consistency.
Fluency in English is required, with proficiency in French and Italian preferred. A strong command of MS Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel, is also necessary to support your strategic recommendations and reporting.
