Deputy Clerk
Clermont County Probate Court is seeking a professional with excellent communication skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will work as part of a team, maintaining high accuracy and providing exceptional service to the public.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process various probate matters, including estate settlements, trusts, and guardianships
* Assist court personnel in locating files and documents
* Enter new cases into the computer system and review documents for completeness
* Prepare folders and index documents for scanning
* Verify compliance with applicable regulations
* Schedule hearings and notify parties
* Monitor court attendance and ensure compliance with laws and rules
* Provide research support to the Judge and prepare file notices
* Review fiduciary accountings and send citations and notices on delinquent cases
* Act as liaison with other state and governmental agencies
* Respond to inquiries and prepare correspondence
* Provide staff training and assistance
* Manage court funds and prepare financial reports

Qualifications:
* Knowledge of office practice and procedures, public contact, and general clerical support
* Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships, operate office equipment, and enter data into a computer
* Minimum Requirements: High School education or equivalent and valid driver's license
* Preferred Requirements: Associate's Degree in paralegal studies or higher college degree and meaningful legal experience
