Quality Management and Process Engineer
This role in the Accelerator Beam Transfer (ABT) group at CERN ensures the highest standards of quality in the development and maintenance of accelerator beam transfer systems.
Specializing in Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) software and process management, this position contributes significantly to the efficiency and reliability of CERN's accelerator infrastructure.
Your Responsibilities:
* EAM Software Management: Oversee the implementation, configuration, and optimization of EAM software.
* Process Management: Assist with the development of documents and optimize processes related to the maintenance and operation of accelerator beam transfer systems.
* Training and Support: Provide training and support to staff on the use of EAM software and quality control processes.
* Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on quality metrics, process improvements, and system performance.
Your Profile:
Education:
* A degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
* Knowledge or experience in quality management or related processes is a valuable asset.
Technical Skills:
* Familiarity with EAM software such as IBM Maximo, Infor EAM, ERP, or SAP PM.
* Fundamental understanding of process management methodologies and quality assurance principles.
* Basic knowledge of quality routines, including inspection plans and reporting.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Fluency in English is required. The ability to work in French is an advantage.
Eligibility Criteria:
* You are a national of a member state.
* By the application deadline, you have a maximum of two years of professional experience since graduation in Industrial engineering (or a related field) and your highest educational qualification is either a Bachelor's or Master's degree.
* You have never had a CERN fellow or graduate contract before.
* Applicants without a university degree are not eligible.
* Applicants with a PhD are not eligible.
Job duration: 24 months, with a possible extension up to 36 months maximum.
This position involves work in Radiation Areas, interventions in underground installations, residence in the immediate vicinity of the Organization's installations, and a valid driving licence.
