Global Business Development Manager for Life Science

As our Global Business Development Manager for Life Science, you will streamline GF Piping Systems' activities in this field and unlock the untapped potential of our offering in the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Consumer Health Care, and Medical Labs & Institution segments. The aim is to harness our global capabilities to their fullest extent by building relationships with key stakeholders, defining the value proposition and sales strategy to position GF Piping System as an attractive supplier in the Life Science Industry, addressing gaps and seizing new opportunities.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Define ambitious, realistic sales targets for the Life Sciences sector aligned with our 2030 company strategy.
* Formulate actionable strategies and go-to-market plans to meet these targets, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives.
* Lead efforts to define and promote a compelling and differentiated value proposition in key areas such as Water for Injection (WFI), Deionized (DI) Water, and Waste Stream management.
* Reactivate and build momentum within the sales company, foster collaboration, and provide strategic guidance to enhance the effectiveness of the sales teams across regions.
* Develop deep relationships with selected and prioritized End Users, EPCs, and Water-related OEMs in the Life Science industry.
* Develop a broad understanding of our offerings for the Life Science Industry, including fusion technologies, prefab, or consulting needs.
* Attend industry events to expand networks and act as a speaker in industry panels/forums.
* Develop marketing materials and sales playbooks to demonstrate GF Piping System's portfolio for Life Science with the support of marketing professionals.
* Conduct training sessions for sales companies and our network.
Your Profile:
* A master's or bachelor's degree preferably in a Pharma or Life Science related field.
* At least 10 plus years experience in the Pharma/Life Science market, with a broad network in the EPCs and Water Treatment OEMs.
* Extensive knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, water requirements, plant and water treatment.
* Good technical and biological knowledge and skills to work directly with pharmaceutical companies, hospitals, and research labs.
* Strong verbal and presentation skills including analytical and interpersonal skills.
* Passion to build relationships and the ability to inspire institutions, decision-makers, and stakeholders with your ideas.
* English must be on a high professional level; other languages are an asset.
* Willingness to travel more than 50%.
