THE OPPORTUNITY
Biognosys’ service offering includes TrueDiscovery proteomics (DIA-based), TrueSignature targeted proteomics (PRM-based) and TrueTarget drug target deconvolution (LiP-based). These technologies are applied in contract research projects for pharma and biotechnology companies. You will be responsible for the execution of customer projects in compliance with FDA/EMA GCP guidelines to develop, validate and apply state of the art assays that make clinical studies a success story. Together with a strong team of dedicated colleagues, you make Biognosys’ next generation proteomics technology available and actionable for the pharma and biotechnology industry to develop the drugs that society needs.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the development and characterization of mass spectrometry-based protein and peptide assays
Validate developed assays in compliance with the official method validation guidelines
Apply targeted proteomics methods in early discovery, preclinical, and clinical studies
Communicate effectively with sponsors during study planning, execution, and data submission phases
Perform data analysis, quality control, and ensure timely data release to sponsors
Maintain thorough documentation of all activities
Coordinate your work with experienced research associates
Colaborate closely with specialists of the research & development and scientific operations teams
YOUR PROFILE
PhD in biochemistry, chemistry, biology or other analytical life sciences
Minimum 3 years experience in the field of liquid chromatography mass spectrometry-based analytics
Experience in method validation and application in a regulated environment (GLP, GCP or GMP)
Business-minded, analytical thinking, problem-solving attitude with an independent working style
Very good knowledge of written and spoken English
