Design engineer

Your Key Responsibilities

* Develop novel design solutions for aircraft primary structures, focusing on wing design in collaboration with cross-functional specialists.
* Create 3D models of parts and assemblies using advanced software tools.
* Generate precise drawings for manufacturing and installation purposes.
* Lead smaller design projects and sub-projects independently as part of concept and feasibility studies.
* Drive design-to-manufacturing processes while optimizing costs.

Requirements

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
* A minimum of 5 years of experience in aerospace design, with a strong background in mechanical engineering principles.
* Demonstrated expertise in 3D modeling and 2D drafting techniques.
* Proficiency in Siemens NX and Teamcenter Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) is an advantage.
* Previous experience in wing primary structure design and control system kinematic design (ailerons or flaps) would be highly valued.
* Excellent English language skills at level C1, with knowledge of Italian or German being a plus.
