About the Role
You will collaborate with Partners Group's investment professionals in transaction closing processes for Private Equity, Real Estate and Infrastructure investments. Your main responsibility will be to ensure a seamless closing process.
As a key member of our team, you will maintain an overall view of what is required to bring a transaction to closing, driving and coordinating various related work streams with internal and external parties.
Main Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with European investment teams, mainly based in Switzerland, UK, Italy, and Germany, in the investment closing process.
* Manage transaction execution by coordinating and monitoring workstreams across teams and jurisdictions.
* Coordinate equity funding processes, including handling fund flows and capital calls.
* Work with external counsel on closing-related topics, such as set-up/implementation of acquisition structures and transaction documentation.
* Create and drive closing steps plans to ensure conditions precedent are fulfilled.
* Coordinate with internal teams on various processes related to transaction setup and execution.
* Identify and drive improvement opportunities for the team and overall execution process.
What We're Looking For
* Top academic credentials in business administration, economics, finance, and/or law.
* Experience in private markets/financial services or consulting, preferably with a background in private equity, law firms, advisory firms, or similar.
* Previous transactional experience, ideally with exposure to closings of private markets transactions (3-4 years for Associate role, 4-6 years for Sr. Associate role).
* Excellent project management and organizational skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong quantitative and qualitative skills.
* An entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to learn and succeed.
* Proficiency in English.
