Job description: Collaborate with business areas to understand their data needs and requirements. Define requirements for data products in collaboration with business stakeholders. Design data models that meet business requirements. Assist in the creation of data workloads such as reports, queries, spreadsheets, and dashboards in the new data lakehouse platform. Develop and execute test plans to ensure accuracy and completeness. Write and optimise SQL queries to support the creation and validation of the data workloads. Document processes, data models, and any changes to business workflows. Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data management. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field Solid experience in data projects, ideally within financial services, commercial banking or a similar industry Deep understanding of business areas such as Middle Office, Risk, or Finance Proficiency in SQL, with the ability to write and optimise complex queries Strong experience in data modelling data lakehouse technologies (Snowflake, Iceberg, Databricks) Familiar with data platforms and modern data architecture principles.
