As a specialist project manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and representing the specialist group within the core team, facilitating interdisciplinary development of solutions, maintaining effective communication with team members and stakeholders, specifying accessories for external development partners, and contributing to shaping the technology roadmap as part of a gatekeeper or expert group.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop complex electronics for battery-powered surveying instruments, covering the entire process from requirements engineering, concept development, commissioning, and verification to series production.
* Create demanding circuit designs using ECAD and simulation tools.
* Design and implement embedded sensor software in C/C++ for peripheral MCUs or application processors, covering areas such as power management, HMI, IMU, and camera modules.
We are looking for a highly skilled individual with a degree in electronics/electrical engineering or a related field, possibly complemented by a Master's degree, and a minimum of 10 years of experience in developing electronic designs with embedded software.
Familiarity with SI/PI simulation and thermal management is advantageous, as well as a track record of leading innovation projects, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of systems. You should thrive in collaborating with external development partners, exhibit networked and highly entrepreneurial thinking, and maintain a positive mindset while working with a high degree of independence.
