We are looking for a Project Engineer to join our Research & Development team, focusing on orthopedic product design, enhancement, and process optimization. What You’ll Do:
* Lead the design and development of orthopedic devices, specifically bone plates and intramedullary nails.
* Identify and integrate emerging osteosynthesis technologies to improve product performance.
* Conduct and oversee prototype testing to ensure the safety and durability of designs.
* Address manufacturing challenges, engineering changes, and quality improvements.
* Manage multiple projects from concept to launch, ensuring regulatory compliance.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and Clinical Affairs.
* Maintain detailed technical documentation, including product specifications and design reports.
Requirements
What You Bring:
* Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering.
* 9+ years of experience in orthopedic product development.
* Hands-on experience with bone plates, intramedullary nails, and osteosynthesis technologies.
* Proficiency in SolidWorks for 3D modeling and engineering drawings.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
* Ability to travel up to 30% for project-related needs.
