Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Credit Analyst to join our Commodity Trade Finance team in Geneva. As a key member of our credit analysis division, you will be responsible for reviewing the financials of assigned clients, assessing credit risks, and providing recommendations to internal authorities.
Main Responsibilities:
* Conduct thorough financial statement analysis and credit approval form assessments for commodity trading clients and counterparties.
* Evaluate the creditworthiness of counterparties and provide recommendations to internal authorities.
* Maintain updated documentation on all credit facilities and follow up on financial statements and performance.
* Apply and update internal credit ratings for debtor files.
* Review and validate major counterparty, broker, and insurance accreditation requests.
* Provide credit risk assessments and recommendations for one-off transactions presented by the CTF department.
* Support Relationship Managers in transaction structuring and credit line setup.
Your Profile:
* University degree in Economics, Finance, or related field.
* At least 2-3 years' experience as a Credit Officer/Analyst with banks active in commodity trade finance or an audit firm managing commodity trading clients.
* Comprehensive understanding of Commodity Trade Finance activities and instruments.
* Excellent analytical and communication skills.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
* Proficient computer skills with MS Office applications.
