At our head office in Fehraltorf we are looking for a Product Manager Life Science in Field Sales (m/f) 100% with immediate effect or by arrangement.
Acquiring new customers and expanding existing customer relationships in the life science market in Switzerland through a technical, consultative sales approach.
Building and maintaining close relationships with key players in the life science industry.
Preparation of technical proposals and offers, leading negotiations with customers through to order placement.
Overall project management of development projects.
Interface between customers and various internal departments such as engineering, internal sales and workshop as well as our suppliers.
Technical support for products and assemblies in the product life cycle as well as support in product and assembly development.
Developing and implementing strategic sales plans to achieve sales growth and sales targets.
Follow up on quotations and negotiate customer contracts.
Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities in the life science sector through comprehensive market analyses and proactive outreach initiatives.
Coordinate and organise marketing activities.
Your profile Education: Basic technical training with further training in mechanical engineering, or a degree in mechanical engineering with further commercial or business management training.
Industry knowledge: Experience as a project manager in the conceptual development of products and assemblies in the life science industry. A good network and professional experience in the life science industry.
Technical expertise: High level of customer application understanding and the ability to identify and conceptually develop customised customer solutions. Pleasure in the conceptual development and implementation of fluid technology solutions in accordance with regulatory requirements (ISO 13485/MDR/FDA).
Sales experience: Experience in customer support and sales with knowledge and passion for business-to-business sales processes involving products requiring explanation and multiple stakeholders. Acquisition, negotiation and communication skills as well as a professional demeanour.
Willingness to travel: Willingness to travel domestically (30%-50%).
Personality: High self-motivation and solution-orientated thinking and acting, determination to achieve good qualitative results and reach the set targets.
Computer skills: Skilled in the use of MS Office programmes.
Languages: Very good written and spoken German and English, knowledge of French is an advantage.
