POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Area Sales Manager for Belgium. The chosen candidate will drive sales growth, expand market presence, and establish strategic partnerships within the region.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets and enhance market penetration.
2. Conduct in-depth market research to identify opportunities, understand the competitive landscape, and monitor industry trends. Adjust strategies based on competitor activities.
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with both existing and potential clients, ensuring exceptional customer service and support to foster client satisfaction and loyalty.
4. Lead and motivate a team of sales professionals, enhancing their performance through continuous coaching, training, and guidance.
5. Collaborate with the business development team to pinpoint new business opportunities, develop tailored solutions, and secure new accounts.
6. Partner closely with the General Manager to craft long-term business plans and strategies for sustainable growth.
7. Generate regular reports and analyses on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities, using data-driven insights for strategic adjustments.
8. Effectively manage the sales territory, including key account mapping, prioritizing sales activities, and optimizing travel schedules.
9. Work across functions with marketing, operations, and technical support teams to ensure cohesive sales initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS:
10. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
11. Demonstrated sales management experience, preferably within the industrial automation or electronics sectors.
12. Deep knowledge of the Belgian market and experience in managing direct competitors.
13. Strong leadership capabilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
14. Results-oriented, with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
15. Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
16. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.
17. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the territory.
