Training and Communications Lead - Legal Operations
This is a Manager level role. Reporting to the Global Head of Legal Operations, you will develop and implement training and communications strategies for the wider Legal department.
The Role
You will design and implement a comprehensive communication strategy that ensures clear and effective communication within the legal department and our business clients.
Responsibilities:
* Assess the training needs of the legal department by collaborating with other Legal sub-function leads.
* Maintain and update training materials to ensure they remain current and relevant.
* Create and advise on a central style standard for internal communications and reports.
* Collaborate with other departments to understand their training needs related to legal processes or tools.
* Implement mechanisms to gather feedback on training programs and communication initiatives.
* Leverage modern training and communication tools and platforms to deliver content effectively.
* Define communication channels and create content for blogs and newsletters.
* Manage the budget for training and communication activities.
* Develop and manage the Legal Training Academy.
Your Skills and Experience:
* Bachelor's Degree required; MBA or equivalent preferred.
* PMP or similar certification preferred.
* Project Management experience is a plus.
* Change Management or equivalent certification is a plus.
* Instructional Design experience would be helpful.
* 3+ years of experience managing training and communications initiatives in a corporate legal environment.
* Knowledge of new and emerging platforms for engagement with target audiences.
* Experienced in developing strategic or departmental training and communications materials.
* Experience leading communications for enterprise-wide change programs.
* Experience with change management and efficient communication content.
* International travel up to 10% may be required.
