Varian is the world's largest manufacturer of medical devices and software for treating cancer and other conditions with radiotherapy, proton therapy, and brachytherapy. We are looking for a new team member for our EMEA Software team in Switzerland.
This challenging position involves managing complex software installations and IT infrastructure used in radiotherapy at customer facilities.
Responsibilities:
1. Hardware component installation and software product configuration.
2. Customer support for basic application use.
3. Upgrade, installation, and commissioning coordination with customers and project management.
4. Maintenance of technical documentation.
Desired Qualifications:
1. Graduate degree in computer science or related field.
2. 2 years of professional IT experience.
3. Technical knowledge in complex IT solutions (VMWare, Microsoft Windows-based Client/Server, Citrix, Microsoft SQL databases, ARCserve/Veeam Backup, and TCP/IP components).
4. Independent working style.
5. Excellent English communication skills.
6. Travel willingness within EMEA (50-70%).
7. Customer-oriented, communicative, resilient, and team player.
You have excellent organizational skills and a proactive attitude. You can work independently and as part of a team. You thrive in fast-paced environments with numerous tasks.
