IT Business Analyst Guidewire Claim Center
The Non-Life Claims Team at Zurich Switzerland is responsible for all Property and Casualty claims applications.
We are seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst with strong expertise in Guidewire InsuranceSuite to support our team's digitalization initiatives and play a key role in our transformation within the claims area.
You will work in an agile development environment using state-of-the-art technologies, analyzing and optimizing our application, and serving as a key reference point for internal customers.
You will collaborate closely with team members to drive innovation and excellence, utilizing SAFe and Scrum methodologies.
1. Advise the business on new requirements with technical expertise.
2. Analyze business requirements with respective departments for implementation in IT systems.
3. Coordinate end-to-end analysis for new requirements and incident fixing.
4. Provide necessary support and clarifications to developers regarding configuration and development tasks.
5. Ensure completeness and correctness of documentation, create and review test cases, and participate in user acceptance tests.
Requirements:
1. At least 3 years of experience in Guidewire ClaimCenter, preferably as an IT Business Analyst or Requirement Engineer, with an educational background in Information Systems and Management, Computer Science, or similar fields.
2. Understanding of system integration (Webservices, REST, SOA) and knowledge in Java and SQL.
3. Familiarity with integration and release management tools (e.g., Atlassian Suite, GIT, Azure DevOps).
4. Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written; proficiency in German is an added advantage.
5. Experience in agile development frameworks, specifically Scrum and/or SAFe methodologies.
6. Analytical and detail-oriented mindset, with a strong commitment to quality.
7. Strong sense of responsibility, adherence to deadlines, and ability to build and maintain relationships across different functions and cultures.
