Job Description:
Objectives and Responsibilities:
1. Accountable for local E2E product flow and performance in alignment with Global Functions (EPLs, VSL’s, CAC’s) and local Quality Product Owner.
2. Point of Contact with Customer Management/Demand management and other stakeholders as required.
3. Continuous improvement of processes to reach the targets.
4. Responsible for capacity scenario analysis and reporting for Schaffhausen portfolio to support E2E decision.
5. Own product specific planning KPI’s.
6. Local product specific interface/single point of contact for Global Functions regarding tactical/operational topics.
7. Single point of contact for upstream plants.
8. Optimization of production schedules according to customer demand and available capacity (incl. scenario planning).
9. Guarantee optimal customer service and address potential future supply constraints.
10. Material planning based on market demand.
11. Internal coordination within Planning of scheduling of a particular line in case of multiple products running on the same line.
12. Support of timely release in collaboration with local Quality Product Owner (lead).
13. Identifies issue and or follows up on Escalated items that may impact supply in the horizon from week 6 to 24 months with the EPL’s/POC’s (STEM 2, Criticalities, Quality).
14. Own product specific MPS (generation, analysis, follow-up).
15. Ad hoc participation in Global VSL Team meetings & product specific representation of the site (lifecycle management).
16. Own local Value Stream Map of product and product specific KPI’s.
17. Identify cost improvement and lean opportunities; keep overview on product specific site projects beyond tactical supply.
18. Ensure objectives related to the goal alignment.
19. E2E configuration; collaboration with EPL to define and maintain local E2E planning parameters.
20. Ensure Monthly MPC with EPL and support BP process.
21. Makes and or coordinates simulations and issues recommendations for the SRM on asset/product level for the products under his/her product portfolio to support Management decisions.
22. Compliance with the GMP, EHS and SOX requirements and guidelines, which are connected to the respective function.
Qualifications
Education:
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required. Advanced degree is preferred. APICS Supply Chain certification is preferred.
Experience:
* 5+ years of related experience in MFG and/or Logistics/supply chain. Preferable within the pharma industry.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
* Clear understanding of internal Supply Chain trends/flow.
* Ability to act as change agent/leader.
* Collaborates effectively to achieve performance improvement.
* Knowledge of SAP highly preferable.
* High analytical and quantitative skills, excellent communication.
* Strength in interdependent partnering.
* Ability to manage multiple initiatives and work in a matrix environment where priorities change rapidly and tight deadlines exist.
* Ability to partner with others; look for collaboration with people from different departments and all levels.
