Description
Hitachi Energy Transformers seeks a Global Digital Transformation Applications Service Delivery Manager to transform business for marketing & sales, service, and overall experience for Hitachi Energy Customers. This role focuses on Digital Transformation Strategy and Portfolio management, as well as global applications service delivery team leadership.
As a Digital Transformation Portfolio Manager, you drive strategic digital initiatives, unlock growth opportunities, and shape the BU's transformation. You'll lead high-impact portfolios, bridge technology and business needs, and deliver tangible results. You are accountable for developing, implementing, and executing IT capabilities within practice areas to plan and build IT solutions resulting from Business of Functions.
You will lead one or more projects/programs and act as single point of contact (SPOC) towards IT and Business Unit for these transformational projects/programs. You are responsible for interaction with functional/business unit leadership to monitor and execute the projects/programs.
As a Global Application Service Delivery Manager, you lead a multinational team of Application Managers, specialists, and developers who develop, implement, and execute IT capabilities to plan, build, run, or support IT solutions resulting from Business or Support-Function demands.
Your responsibilities:
* Cultivate digital culture, identify, and lead strategic initiatives across the digital ecosystem.
* Develop and manage high-impact digital portfolios for respective BUs/Functions, prioritize projects, track progress towards goals.
* Spearhead successful implementation, ensure timely delivery, and drive tangible business value.
* Translate complex technology to clear business value, secure buy-in from business stakeholders.
* Execute given strategies.
* Instruct and guide Project Managers/Program Managers with their respective objectives.
* Guide strategic organizational development.
* E nsure that the project/programs are properly organized, staffed, and skilled.
* Lead several multinational teams associated with the provision of services to a particular BU.
* Responsible for strategy and operations of their respective departments, HR management of their teams, and budgets associated with their departments.
* Leading of service and project teams.
* Guides, motivates, and develops direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies, for the benefit of both company and employee.
* Implementing agile development setups.
* Establish a stable end-to-end service delivery for globally used applications according to ITIL4.
* Guiding and supporting IT implementation projects.
* Create a governance setup and run service/project reviews for service-receiving organizations according to IT global standards.
* Holding the financial responsibility of all sub-teams.
* Ensure (with HR support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled, and directed. Ensure strategic organization development.
Your background:
* 10+ years of profound experience in IT technology and Applications Development Management.
* 5+ years of experience in large global corporations.
* 10+ years in managing third-party providers on a global scale.
* Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology preferred.
