Job Description
The Mechanics & Utilities Professional plays a crucial role in maintaining and repairing utility and process systems at the Lengnau facility.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on utility systems and process equipment, including HVAC, boilers, water systems, bioreactors, vessels, and purification equipment.
* Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve system issues that arise during afternoon and evening activities to minimize downtime.
* Documentation: Document all maintenance activities, including repairs and inspections, corrective and preventive actions, in accordance with GMP standards.
* Support Manufacturing: Assist in maintaining systems critical to manufacturing operations, ensuring minimal disruption to production.
Requirements:
* Education: Technical diploma or equivalent experience in mechanical engineering or a related field.
* Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in maintenance, preferably in a GMP manufacturing facility.
* Skills: Strong understanding of GMP standards and maintenance practices, analytical and concept-based thinking, and strong attention to detail.
