Job Description
We are seeking a Project Manager to strengthen our Global Production Industrialization & Transfers Team.
As Project Manager GPI&T, you will lead projects from evaluation to closing phases, collaborating closely with key stakeholders in a global and local context.
Key Responsibilities
1. Conduct projects, assuming full responsibility as project manager from evaluation phase to closing phase.
2. Motivate and coordinate both global and local project teams in a matrix environment to optimize project completion.
3. Identify project risks and manage preventive actions/mitigations for continuous improvement.
4. Build and monitor the global schedule of the project, manage the budget, define targets, and set up KPIs.
For Product Industrialization
1. Define execution/manufacturing strategy according to global strategy and global engineering recommendations.
2. Ensure preliminary feasibility assessment to drive design for manufacturing/quality.
3. Transfer the project from global steering to the local team for execution, ensuring successful completion by monitoring the effectiveness of the solution.
For Product Transfers
1. Define transfer scope based on group strategy and global engineering inputs.
2. Consolidate feasibility assessments with stakeholders.
3. Elaborate and execute detailed transfer plan.
4. Support and monitor implementation according to targeted performance (COGS, quality).
5. Drive proactive proposals to ensure optimized processes are in place in receiving sites.
Requirements
1. Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or equivalent specialization, with several years of experience.
2. Experience in project management and production flows/requirements in an industrial environment.
3. Good knowledge of problem-solving methods and tools for process improvement (Lean manufacturing).
4. Experience in medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or highly regulated environments (an advantage).
5. English Level B2 minimum required, C1 appreciated / German, French, Portuguese (Level B1 or higher) - an advantage.
6. Computer skills: Microsoft Office (including MS Project), SAP or other ERP (an advantage).
7. Excellent communication and information skills, comfortable in multidisciplinary and matrix collaboration, excellent interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to manage priorities and timelines, rigorous, precise analytical, synthesis, and data-driven decision-making mind.
9. Positive attitude, open-minded, passionate, adept at change, ready to make mistakes, take responsibility, and learn from them.
