We are currently seeking an Area Sales Manager (m/w/d) for our client in the Renewable Energy industry based in the Zürich region of Switzerland.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Achieve sales targets by developing pipelines, managing forecasts, and driving growth within assigned markets and accounts.
2. Lead cross-functional teams to present competitive solutions and bids to customers, focusing on differentiation and positioning.
3. Define bid pricing strategies, market approaches, and channel tactics.
4. Negotiate and close deals through technical and commercial discussions with key stakeholders.
5. Promote new technologies and systems to customers through seminars and workshops, leveraging Presales resources.
6. Maintain strong relationships with market players, including End Customers, EPCs, Front End, and Geographic Sales teams.
7. Gather market insights to inform planning and strategy development for the Offshore Wind business.
8. Support the creation of business strategies and sales plans for the Offshore Wind sector.
Required Profile:
1. Educated in Electrical or Electronics Engineering with at least 10 years of sales experience in the Utility Sector; Offshore Wind project experience is highly desirable.
2. Strong expertise in Substation Automation, Control, and Protection.
3. Familiarity with export contracts and their commercial aspects.
4. Proven track record in sales for power grid automation systems will be advantageous.
5. Knowledge of telecommunications systems.
6. Result-driven, customer-focused professional with excellent interpersonal skills.
7. Self-motivated team player with the ability to manage internal and external stakeholders effectively.
