About Our Client
For our client, a financial institution in Basel, we are looking for an Archivist to support the Historical Archive team and researchers in reviewing and optimizing the existing archives. This position is currently temporary for 12 months starting in April.
Job Description
* Developing and implementing archive access procedures and policy
* Preparing and digitalizing files
* Handling various user access and retrieval requests
* Entering data into the catalogue system
* Cataloguing historical collections according to standards
The Successful Applicant
* Successfully completed further education in archives or a similar field
* Previous experience in a relevant position
* Fluent in English; basic knowledge of German or French
* Proficient user of MS Office and archives management tools
* Understanding of international archival standards
* Great attention to detail with strong organizational skills
