As an Electrical Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, integration, and testing of flight control software for our unmanned helicopter systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our systems are reliable, efficient, and compliant with industry standards. Your main tasks & duties System Design : Design and develop electrical and electronic systems for unmanned vehicles, including power distribution, sensors, communication systems, and control electronics. Integration: Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to integrate electrical systems with mechanical, software, and control systems, ensuring seamless operation. Testing and Validation: Conduct testing and validation of electrical systems and components, including performance evaluations and troubleshooting of issues. Component Selection : Research and select appropriate electrical components and subsystems, ensuring reliability, performance, and compliance with industry standards. Documentation : Create detailed technical documentation, including schematics, design specifications, and test plans, to support development and regulatory requirements. Collaboration: Work closely with software engineers and systems engineers to ensure that electrical designs meet overall project objectives and requirements. Problem-Solving : Diagnose and resolve electrical issues in prototypes and production systems, implementing design improvements as necessary. Take a hands-on approach during troubleshooting. With this you convince us: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree is a plus. Experience : Previous experience in electrical design for unmanned systems, robotics, or aerospace applications is preferred. Skills: Proficiency in circuit design, embedded systems, and familiarity with design software (e.G., Altium, MATLAB). Knowledge of communication protocols (e.G., CAN, I2C, SPI) is essential. Communication: Very good communication skills. High social skills and good analytical and excellent technical understanding. Language: Good language skills in English (oral and written).
