The Marketing Communications Specialist role at ESMO involves project managing promotional activities for specific products, including planning, implementation, review, and reporting.
Main Duties:
1. Plan and project manage promotional activities throughout all phases, under the guidance of the Marketing Communications Manager.
2. Implement promotional activities across multiple channels to achieve defined objectives.
3. Manage creation and development of promotional materials, including working with internal teams and external suppliers.
4. Write, proofread, and revise promotional messages (print and digital).
Roles and Special Assignments:
The Marketing Communications Specialist can propose innovative ideas for new activities or ways to implement established activities to the Marketing Communications team.
Communications / Contacts:
* Marketing Communications Manager, Head of Marketing
* Branding team, Digital team, ESMO project/product owners, and other ESMO teams
* External partner organisations, as required: partner societies, journal publishers, etc.
* External design and communication agencies
Education and Professional Experience:
Requirements include a Bachelor Degree in Communication and/or Marketing Studies or equivalent professional experience. Strong experience in communication project management is essential, along with analytical and creative skills.
