Job Description
The Reservation Manager oversees all aspects of the reservation process, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with the 5-star standards of Red Carnation Hotels and guest expectations.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage inquiries, bookings, reservations, and issues or discrepancies related to the reservation process.
2. Provide a warm and personalized telephone service to guests.
3. Propose tailored offers to customers while adhering to the hotel's sales guidelines.
4. Develop and implement strategies to maximize room revenue and occupancy levels, including pricing strategies, inventory management, upselling, and cross-selling initiatives.
5. Analyze reservation performance, revenue metrics, and market trends, providing insights and recommendations for senior management.
6. Lead, guide, and direct the reservation team, focusing on recruitment, training, performance management, and professional development.
7. Collaborate with front office, sales, and marketing departments to ensure a seamless and personalized guest experience from booking to check-out.
Requirements
1. Hotel management school graduate or equivalent training.
2. At least three years of experience in a similar position within a comparable hotel category.
3. Fluent in French and English, with written and oral expression. Mastery of a third foreign language is highly desirable.
4. Advanced administrative, accounting, and IT skills. Familiarity with property management systems (PMS) such as Opera Cloud is highly desirable.
5. Courteous, discreet, available, and possessing strong sales skills.
6. Dynamic, customer service-oriented, and comfortable with human interaction.
