Job Title: Application Engineer
A hybrid working model from Switzerland, join our Applications Engineering & Services team as a Professional Level employee based in Chiasso, Switzerland, with a permanent full-time contract (36h/week).
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, implement, and maintain our chatbot and contact center solutions for optimal conversational flow performance.
* Define, document, and enforce system standards for continuous improvement.
* Troubleshoot incidents and root causes, implementing remediation actions to maintain system reliability.
* Collaborate with the Business Product Owner (PO) to enhance customer experiences.
* Monitor system performance and recommend improvements proactively.
Your Expertise:
* Proven experience as a Technical Engineer with expertise in omnichannel customer care solutions.
* Hands-on knowledge of designing and troubleshooting complex conversational flows.
* Strong software development background: PHP, MySQL, Javascript, CSS, HTML, Python.
* Expertise in NodeJS and Electron Framework.
* Familiarity with AWS infrastructure/services and GITLAB pipelines.
* Basic understanding of Natural Language Processing (NLP), including TTS and ASR engines.
* Fluent English (written and spoken).
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Ability to work both independently and in a team.
* Adaptability, communication skills, and stress management.
* On-call availability, with sporadic international travel required.
