We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and manage regulatory change projects within our company. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with evolving regulatory requirements and coordinating these changes across various business functions.
Responsibilities
1. Lead and manage regulatory projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
2. Collaborate with key business stakeholders to assess the impact of regulatory changes on the organization.
3. Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets.
4. Allocate and manage resources effectively to ensure project success.
5. Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to ensure successful project delivery.
6. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including risk, legal, compliance, operations, and IT, to ensure seamless execution of regulatory projects.
7. Support the development of training and communication plans to educate staff on regulatory changes and compliance procedures.
8. Maintain complete and accurate project documentation.
9. Prepare and present detailed project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Experience
1. Bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. A relevant certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
2. Proven experience in the end-to-end delivery of regulatory projects within a complex financial services environment (ideally asset management) covering impacts on relevant Business and IT areas.
3. Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance in the finance industry and its impact on business operations. Excellent project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
4. Ability to analyze complex legal and regulatory texts and translate them into actionable business requirements.
5. Excellent stakeholder communication, comfortable interfacing with executive leadership and stakeholders across multiple teams.
6. Fluent in German (spoken and written); proficient in English.
