Job Description
Design and implement the Salomon local marketing plan in partnership with local managers of all channels (Field, Key Account, District Manager, Epicentre, Road Running, Sportstyle, D2C) to achieve the brand development targets of the country/country cluster and best in class consumer experience. Represent the local market to the global/regional brand organization and ensure local execution of the brand strategy.
Execution of brand strategy in Switzerland:
* Warrant of the best-in-class consumer experience execution at local level.
* Develop and coordinate the local marketing plan, in line with global/regional brand management and merchandising directions.
* Lead the marketing team in country and act as the marketing point of reference for the omnichannel organization.
* Provide country budget guidance and manage the local marketing team to implement the brand’s yearly and seasonal plans. Unify and guide the local A&P.
* Monitor achievement of the Salomon local marketing plan & recommend adjustments if necessary.
* Develop and execute marketing activations for our D2C channels.
* Lead the implementation of the shopping experience framework, develop and implement Joint Trade Marketing plans to ensure adequate brand representation at Wholesales partners.
* Guardian of the Brand equity in the country/country cluster.
* [country specific] Develop and implement the Epicenter Marketing plan in coordination with the Epicenter Leaders.
* Lead the local “commitments to sustainable living” program and activations, such as local carbon footprint reduction actions, educational programs, etc.
* Marketing point of contact for local Key Account, Premium Partners and HQ Retail.
* Deliver customers presentation at key meetings, conveying the seasonal programs.
* Cooperate with Sales team to develop local customers plans, including co-op campaigns.
* Own local Customers Joint Marketing Plans, define and agree plans and related tracking.
Representation of local needs to EMEA and global brand organization:
* Represent the country/country cluster to the global brand/category teams, while ensuring execution of the global brand strategy throughout the territory.
* Work closely with EMEA Marketing Director to ensure plans are in place to meet local market needs by consumer and by channel following the global strategy.
* Support local Commercial team to build compelling customer and consumer value proposition.
* Represent and structure local market needs into regional marketing requirements.
* Report efficiently KPIs, local needs and executions to EMEA Marketing Director.
* Share best practice examples via the EMEA Marketing community.
Qualifications:
* 8 to 10 years of professional experience in marketing and communication.
* Experience in client presentation is a must.
* Deep understanding of the sporting goods distribution: B2B, D2C, Brick & mortar, Etailer, specialty sporting goods…
* Track record of developing, coaching and motivating teams and individuals.
Foreign languages: proficiency in English.
Computer skills: command of Microsoft Office.
