About the Job:
Kopter is developing the AW09, a cutting-edge single-engine helicopter with a large cabin and cargo hold. This innovative aircraft offers increased modularity, modern electronic systems, and the latest safety standards, along with improved performance and comfort at low operating costs.
Your Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop mechanical products by studying requirements, researching, testing, manufacturing, and assembly methods to achieve a sub-project design that meets product requirements.
2. Maintain legal aviation & safety requirements in operations and implement them.
3. Inform about possible project risks related to tasks.
4. Implement applicable design guidelines for parts worked on.
Key Tasks:
1. Design mechanical products by studying requirements, researching, testing information, manufacturing and assembly methods, and applied materials to achieve a sub-project design that complies with product requirements.
2. Collaborate with team members on a technical level to achieve a mature design of their subsystem.
3. Assure system and product quality by reviewing fabrication methods, assembly methods, and installation processes to achieve a well-established manufacturing and assembly process.
4. Create technical specifications to achieve well-defined process and product information.
5. Support and conduct experimental, environmental, operational, and stress tests on models and prototypes of aircraft and aerospace systems and equipment to achieve the proper level of system testing.
6. Attend the assembly and fitting of aircraft and components to improve the design and instructions of the system.
Requirements:
1. University degree in mechanical engineering or similar related engineering degree.
2. Minimum 3 years' experience in the aerospace industry, preferably with transmission systems or structural design.
3. Must have 3D CAD experience.
4. Must have experience in creating manufacturing and assembly drawings.
5. Preferred experience in manufacturing processes related to aerospace.
6. Preferable experience in aerospace system testing.
7. Very good English spoken and written (minimum B2).
