What We're Looking For
To be successful at Medecision, the Sr. Reporting Data Analyst will understand what a customer-centric organization entails and be able to infuse that ideology in your contributions. On a given day, you will create and maintain reports, dashboards, and other data visualization tools related to outcomes for Care Management and Utilization Management data sets. You will specifically possess a deep understanding of Cloud concepts and demonstrate proficiency in SQL. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented analyst who will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide recommendations for process improvements.
This role is central to enhancing our data processing and visualization capabilities and will play a vital role in improving our customer experience.

Requirements
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Create and maintain reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify trends.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and requirements for reporting and analysis.
3. Develop and implement data quality checks to ensure the accuracy and consistency of data.
4. Evaluate internal systems for efficiency, problems, and inaccuracies, and develop and maintain protocols for handling, processing, and cleaning data.
5. Create and maintain rich interactive visualizations through data interpretation and analysis, with reporting components from multiple data sources.
6. Develop and maintain databases by acquiring data from primary and secondary sources and build scripts that will make our data evaluation process more flexible or scalable across datasets.
7. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data analysis, data storage, and data visualization techniques.
8. Create and update documentation for relevant data processes.
Education and Experience
1. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field. Prior experience working in a HealthPlan is highly valuable.
2. 5 - 8 years of relevant field experience.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manipulate and interpret large data sets.
4. Proven track record of successfully managing large sets of data and delivering data-driven insights that have informed business decisions.
5. Expertise in database management and data modeling.
6. Demonstrated experience in Cloud concepts and the Pub/Sub architecture.
7. Proficiency in SQL for writing analytics and verification scripts (Big Query).
8. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
9. Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate data-driven insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
10. Professional Google Cloud Certifications a plus.
