YOUR CHALLENGE
* Provide end-to-end 1st & 2nd level support for Markets-related applications across sales, execution, and trading domains, ensuring efficient use and providing feedback for improvement.
* Manage stakeholders and users of supported applications, escalating and tracking issues, proposing bug fixes and enhancements, and participating in testing requirements.
* Conduct thorough investigations into technical issues, analysing system logs, and other relevant data to quickly identify problems, determine root cause, and develop corrective actions.
* On-call duty (Pikettdienst).
YOUR PROFILE
* Relevant work experience supporting critical systems, preferably within an Investment Banking/Markets/Trading environment.
* Experience with automation tools and monitoring systems with a proven track record of implementing process improvements through automation and effective monitoring.
* University Degree ideally in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
* Solid technical skills, ideally with an understanding of programming languages, web technologies, and databases.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
* Willingness to sit on trading floor and interact with users in a dynamic environment.
* Customer-centric mindset – provide exceptional service and support through a deep understanding of customer needs and expectations.
* Fluent English and German would be a plus.
