The Opportunity:
This is a fixed-term contract for 12 months for the position of Data Analyst in the Service Backlog Team within the Cat Digital division. The Service Backlog Team’s mission is to deliver qualitative service leads through our digital application to our internal customers (industries and dealers) to drive services revenue through our digital product.
As Data Analyst, your responsibility will be to leverage various datasets and develop/sustain services leads. You will also participate in specific projects aiming at further strengthening the service leads ecosystem. The position involves collaborating closely with team members, explaining lead management analytics to customers with limited data knowledge, and interacting with Data Engineers on technical details. The role also includes transforming data into service recommendations through creative approaches.
What You Will Do:
* Gather and implement business requirements for service leads development
* Analyze feedback information to improve leads quality
* Provide recommendations to internal partners based on quantitative and qualitative data
* Improvement, enhancement and development of specific dataset based on opportunities
* Drive processes improvement and automation of service lead generation application
* Coordination with Engineering & BI Team
* Users data support and training
What You Have:
* Master or bachelor's degree in Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, Economics, or Business administration.
* Analytical skills: ability to interpret data to solve business issues & vulgarize results for a large and diverse audience.
* Knowledge of business analysis; ability to recommend solutions that deliver value to stakeholders.
* Decision Making and Critical Thinking skills; Effective Communications.
* Good knowledge of SQL.
Top Candidates Will Also Have:
* Basic knowledge of Airflow and pipelines technologies.
* Exposure to specific organizational tools such as Azure DevOps and GitHub.
* Knowledge of Python and R.
* Project management skills.
Additional Information:
* A valid Swiss work permit or Swiss or EU-25/EFTA citizenship is required for this position.
* Hybrid work policy: 3 days per week from the Geneva office.
