* Select Alternative Investments is a Direct Investments Platform focused on Private Equity, Real Estate, and Venture Capital. We target private investment opportunities alongside our investors and provide access to our proprietary deal sourcing.
* All investments are structured in-house by our team of investment professionals located in Singapore, Zurich, Vienna, and Ho Chi Minh City.
* In order to support our rapidly growing business, we are seeking a self-driven, highly motivated colleague to work directly within our global team.
Tasks
Sourcing
* Identify market trends and research how to incorporate them into the company’s offerings.
* Screen multiple markets to identify & build relationships with potential investment partners/targets.
* Foster relationships with existing network of partners and source new investment opportunities.
Underwriting, due diligence & structuring
* Lead analysts and interns on the analysis and valuation of investment opportunities.
* Negotiate terms with investment partners and prepare investor presentations.
* Tax and legal structuring of entities in various jurisdictions in Asia, Europe, and the USA.
* Present investment opportunities to the investment committee.
* Actively participate in the capital raising process.
Portfolio Management
* Manage different partners and service providers (lawyers, advisors, administrators) throughout the investment cycle.
* Manage ongoing investments of the portfolio incl. reporting, consolidation, and operational support (controlling, automation, etc.).
Platform Development
* Managing and developing the investment team.
* Collaborate with other teams to create & improve operational processes to achieve better efficiency and scalability.
Requirements
* Work experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate finance advisory, consulting, asset management, or real estate.
* 8 – 15 years of work experience.
* Relevant exposure to deal making in the USA and/or Europe.
* Master’s from a leading university, preferably in finance, business, or economics.
* Complete fluency in English & excellent communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a partially virtual environment in a team spread across the globe.
* Self-starter who can work with low supervision and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Attentive to details, strong quantitative and analytical skills, and excellent knowledge of MS Office including MS cloud solutions.
