Position Overview
In this role, you will spearhead the end-to-end product lifecycle of our mobile app, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders—from design and development to marketing and operations. You will ensure our digital offerings remain engaging, user-centric, and reflective of the Art Basel spirit of digital transformation, innovation and inclusivity.
Your responsibilities
* Product Vision & Strategy:
Further shape the app’s strategy under the digital product ecosystem strategy focusing on audience engagement, robust user experience, commercial aspects and alignment with Art Basel’s mission to bring art closer to a global community year-round.
* Roadmap Ownership:
Develop and maintain a clear, user-centric product roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements based on data-driven insights and stakeholder feedback.
* Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work closely with other Product Managers, the wider Art Basel team, designers, developers, marketers, and other internal stakeholders to ensure seamless product delivery, balancing user needs with business objectives and technical feasibility.
* User Experience (UX) & Research:
Leverage user research, analytics, and feedback loops to iterate on features, test prototypes, and optimize usability. Champion user empathy and inclusive design principles throughout the product lifecycle.
* Agile Execution & Delivery:
Oversee sprint planning, writing user stories, backlog refinement, and product releases. Maintain momentum within the product team, fostering an environment of collaboration, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
* Stakeholder Management:
Communicate product goals, progress, and challenges with clarity. Collaborate with art basel teams, senior leadership and external partners to align on strategic objectives, KPIs, and release timelines.
* Data & Insights:
Define and track success metrics, turning insights into actionable recommendations. Proactively identify trends to inform strategic and tactical decisions that elevate the overall app experience.
Your Profile
* Product Management Experience: 3+ years of product management or related experience, ideally within digital applications, SaaS platforms, or consumer-facing apps.
* Passion for AI & Technology: Demonstrated interest in AI, emerging industry trends, and the creative integration of new technologies to enrich user experiences.
* Art Industry Knowledge (Preferred): Passion for art, design, and culture, with the desire to create meaningful digital experiences that resonate with the art community.
* Technical Foundations: Familiarity with agile methodologies, software development cycles, and best practices in product delivery. Ability to translate business requirements into technical briefs.
* Analytical & Strategic Thinking: Proficient in using data and market trends to inform decisions, optimize user journeys, and identify new product opportunities.
* Communication & Collaboration: Skilled at storytelling, conveying complex ideas, and guiding diverse teams toward shared objectives. Experience leading stakeholder discussions and presentations.
* Leadership & Coaching: Demonstrated ability to inspire and empower interdisciplinary teams, ensuring everyone’s contributions are recognized and valued.
* Adaptability & Growth Mindset: Comfortable with ambiguity and change, continuously learning and applying innovative thinking to enhance product value.
